They really want to do the whole "inhuman orcs" thing for China, so they're looking at Taiwan and wishfully hoping for a Russia/Ukraine style invasion even though the conditions are completely different.

Despite their thin veneer of "hate the government, not the people" they already are. That's why we're seeing a spike in anti-Asian violence across the West. If the armed reunification of Taiwan is really necessary, Joseph Wu will do his best shocked Pikachu face as he's put into an internment camp even though he was such a good cheerleader for war.

Let China join united nations? its already in the UN smh.

It's fascinating how upset some people get when I say that Taiwan is a part of China. Considering I am just taking the same position as every major political party in my country, every EU country, every major Asian country, the US, and fucking Taiwan. It should not be that controversial.

Um sweaty, have you considered that everyone I disagree with is brainwashed or coerced? China is holding the entire world at gunpoint like my abusive ex, and Taiwan doesn’t know what’s good for themselves!

Translation: ACCELERATE! ACCELERATE! ANNIHILATORY IMPERIAL VIOLENCE IS THE ONLY WAY OUT OF NEOLIBERAL DEBT SERFDOM. WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE?

The best thing for peace and stability is a provocative action by the West against a non-aggressive state

Existing without being under the control of Burgerland is aggression maybe-later-honey

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 years ago

Journalists for outlets like the Telegraph are hired precisely on the basis of how much their opinions align with ruling class interests. So to answer the question. Yes. There is something going on in their brain. Bourgeois class consciousness.

That building the girl with the Ukrainian flag is walking towards is the Chiang Kai-shek memorial, a monument to Taiwan’s brutal Cold War era US-backed fascist dictator. There’s a huge statue of him sitting on a throne like the Lincoln memorial through the arch in the middle.

Ukraine flag people and supporting brutal fascist reigns of terror seems to go hand in hand.

Seriously. They could have done the photoshoot in front of the Sun Yat-sen memorial or Taipei 101 or just, like, any other of the various notable photo-taking spots in Taipei. But no, they picked this one with all of its connotations. You have to assume it’s deliberate.

The funny thing is that Chiang was a corrupt incompetent dictator but even he would be appalled at the idea of Taiwan breaking away from China. The dude spent much of his life quashing random Warlords seeking to break away from China.

its so funny when westerners propose action in the UN directly against the interests of security council members with a veto.

remember that that thing the US uses to keep the UN from doing anything good? yeah it actually goes both ways, chum

Like how the US passed a law saying it would invade the Netherlands if the International Criminal Court prosecuted any American military members but is now pressing the ICC to prosecute Putin.

The ROC can't even get the remaining ten or so countries that recognizes it to be the legitimate government of China to not dump that recognition one by one. Getting a majority in the UN General Assembly for admission is an absolute pipe dream since the majority of African, Asian, and Latin American countries (I.e. the majority of countries) have zero incentive to throw away their ties with China.

Don’t worry, the libs are here to explain through their rabid racism how the lesser developed African brainpan cannot comprehend the righteousness of the west
