I just don't get it.

Let's say I support some political figure. Said figure does something that is clear as day against the law at the time. Authorities start investigating the issue. And somehow it's sensible to issue death threats to people in the justice system? How does any of that make any sense?

I'm not even arguing the law that was broken is "right". Which I think it is, but I can let it slip. How does a political figure ignore a political law and, once questioned, supporters take that as some sort of personal attack?

Absolute madness.
