um aktually the nightkin are schizophrenic side effects of human experimentation and a lot of the time can't control their actions or emotions and the "civilized" NCR and non-mutants and even other ghouls treat them like monsters. It's disrespectful to compare them to the IOF who clearly do it for the love of the game.
