Just found out the hover boots can be found in the space rig, all the way at the top above the drop pod.
Should add some fun shenanigans to the space rig while waiting for matches.

how good is this game when playing alone ? I came across this game a few times but it seems the co-op aspect is important.
You can solo it. You get a robot that acts as a second team member to help you and revive you if you die (you can only be revived 3 times I think by the robot?)
It's much better in a full team but you can absolutely play solo and that is how I have played most of my time in game and how I have farmed most of the season events.
