What do you guys make of this? I'm in the market for a snackbox micro type controller. I don't like razer very much but apparently it has a removable metal top plate which sounds pretty cool.

It appears to have a removable cable, although no button remapping

It's $300 supposedly

Arcade sticks are pretty awesome to play certain games! I can really recommend the 8Bit Arcade Stick - its very solid, goes for about $80 and it follows a pretty openish standard where you can easily exchange the buttons or stick with famous SANWA pieces or change the shield that locks in the stick in certain directions.

I'm pretty deep down the rabbit hole already lol

I would love to get some cheaper sticks like the 8bitdo used. By the way I use a hitbox to speedrun celeste, and a crossup to speedrun cuphead

What have you been using your stick for lately?

I play side scrolling beat em ups with that like TMNT, SoR or arcade fighting games like Multiversus/Smash

Oh nice. What kind of setup do you use for Smash?

My smash days were before I got into fightsticks, but this is what I made for use with my crossup

Optimal? Maybe not. Fun? Yes.

I actually use the buttons assigned to my Stick. I have a hard time on Linux remapping the buttons. On Windows it works good though
