Update on using Jerboa v0.0.35 with a Lemmy.world login:

Not great. I'm experiencing a lot of errors and random(?) app crashes. I'm going to downgrade to v.0.0.34

Edit: Nope, downgrading doesn't work either. The app just flat out crashes after a few seconds.

Edit 2: I'm now using Connect (for Lemmy), lol! Need to get used to the slightly new UI.

Weird, parang no issues naman on my end. Not sure lang kung anong version ang jerboa ko, but I assume it's the latest one

Yeah the experience on 3rd party apps is better. This is what Reddit fucked up with their API changes. Can't help but to interject "fuck Spez" here yet again. I'm currently using thunder and it fits what I'm looking for in a lemmy client the most.

I was thinking of waiting for a while before I go around and give 3rd party apps a good try. But then again, this Lemmy.world vs. Jerboa problem has forced me to accelerate the timeline, sort of.

I kinda like Jerboa's aesthetic too. It's simple and clean. And though some of the UX feels a bit clunky, it's similar enough to Fedilab that I didn't really mind it much.

It's basically how interacting with comments via Connect that really had me adjusting, lol! Other than that, there's really not much to get used to.

I might give Thunder and others a try too. Ang focus ko kasi kagabi is to just have something I can use for mobile, and my fingers are a bit too clumsy to use the mobile site (through a mobile browser).

And yeah. Lemmy's app landscape is already surprisingly varied especially given that it's just barely a month since it's got enough users to really warrant a handful of 3rd party apps.

Did you do it via F-droid? Google Play?

The errors I've seen last night could have very well be due to my set-up in my phone, but yeah, for some reason, Jerboa even refuses to run for long enough for me to log-in after downgrading. I am suspecting it's because as part of the process of downgrading, Jerboa was uninstalled, and all data related to it was deleted.

I don't know kung medyo dinosaur ako but the last time I used Google Maps, parang calibrated yung directions nya for motorcycle kahit na naka car setting. Pinapadaan nya kame sa isang u-turn slot sa Kalayaan Ave before na motor lang magkakasya.

Edit3: I made it work! Yey! Nakakaaliw lang ang lemmy, nakikita sa comment count pag may nag delete ng comment. As in makikita mo -1 comment. Lumalabas din ang edit kahit hindi ka pa nagefresh ng page.

I like the utilitarian purpose of it... kasi pag accidentally mo nadelete post, you could easily restore it. Happened to me a couple of times already, lol.

Not asking for pirate link, I simply ask if there exists a full dub of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse? I am repeated watching a dub to filipino to learn the language. Every time I watch it I acquire a bit more of the language. I downloaded 5 different dubs and all of them had about 35% of the movie not yet dubbed.

I've even cut down the movie to only the dialog, and next time I watch it I will watch the dialog only since I've watched it one time in English when it was new, and 3 times in filipino the last week. The movie gets down from almost 2 hours to about 50 minutes when cutting out all non dialog parts (I just made a script that took out the timestamps from the English subtitle, then I ran a command to only keep those parts of the movie)

I just want to know if a completed dub, when I cut out the English parts of the dialog only edit, it got down to 30 minutes.

I really like the quality of the dub, I do hope there is a completed version somewhere.

I also made Ai generated filipino subtitles for the dialog only cut, and the dialog only without the English part. Sadly when I try to generate it for the full movie, it gets a bit more screwy, I don't know if it's due to the 2 hour length or due to the noise in between the dialog. Maybe if I made a script to remove sound when there are no subtitles, and then ran that filipino sound file through the Ai subtitle generator, maybe that would work. Or if I made a script to take the words from the Ai subtitles and use the timestamps for the English subtitles...

I disagree, this could be abused lol, I've known a person na niresetahan siya ng anti-depressant and it's only good for 2 weeks, but extended to another 2 weeks kasi dinoktor ng mama niya yung reseta, its only 2 weeks extended lol pero pano kung may long term effect pala yun tas di na bumalik sa psychiatrist lol parang joke ang nangyari kahit pinapabalik para i reassess kung kailangan pa ng gamot o iibahin ang gamot o patitigilin na ang gamot

marijuana >> happpy lang, so for me even the recreational use should be legal, but use it moderately, pag naging legal ito, i would like to try, i want to experience maging high at one point man lang. unlike ibang drugs, marijuana ay happy lang.

alak >> makes it worst pag depress, kaya dapat di lang basta moderate, dapat sobrang strict talaga.

marijuana is linked to increased risk of having bronchitis, and EVALI(all diseases I know so far that is linked to marijuana), anything that is foreign to your body will trigger an immune response that's why smoking for example causes an increased in immune cells like alveolar macrophage but those new immune cells that caused by any smoke or vapor or as I said any foreign things is futile since it only do one thing clean your body out of it. and from the word bronchITIS, itis means inflamation and as I said before increase of immune cell like neutrophil will increase inflammation so to summarize it, smoke >> irritate airways(releases inflammatory cytokines) >> cytokines trigger an immune response >> increase in neutrophil >> inflammation(bronchitis) simultaneous to that is also an increased in mucus production to trap smoke as much as possible and what happens if there's so much mucus your airways are narrower and you'll have to cough up those to clear and widen your airways

alcohol, so far the only known use cases for that for me is for cleaning for example wounds, that's why it also kills gut bacteria, it's also linked to decreased lifespan and more psychological problems temporary and permanently there's more things I forget that I learned from Huberman's Huberman Lab Podcast

Coffee, let set aside the circadian rhythm for a moment and focus on sleep drive, caffeine sits on the same receptor of adenosine, adenosine is what increases your sleep drive throughout the day, it starts to produce the moment you wake up and clears up in your system by sleeping, also caffeine is a drug and it's hard to clear it up even 8 hours passed only 50% of caffeine is flushed on most individual not the entire of it, also the increased caffeine is not beneficial for brain power either just searched up "caffeine spider web" if there's too much caffeine you'll lose the ability to concentrate and be jittery as fuck!
