Cool. The moment I can actually play at these locations with at least 60fps I will do a little dance.

I was kinda excited for the dlss. But it doesn't really does much, because the framerate is still really bad in crowded areas. I first thought something was up on my side, and as soon as i got used to it, i left into space and the framerate skyrocketed.

I assume you already know this but just in case - depending on what's your bottleneck you might want to play around with graphics options (High/Very High to put more work on your GPU).

In general, however, bigger performance gains will most likely come with the final (or at least more advanced) implementation of Vulkan, when multi-threaded-rendering is enabled. That said, we still don't know how much of an effect it will have and I don't want to market it as another "Jesus tech that will fix everything" - there's too much of that around SC already.

For me I think it’s mostly the weather effects and smoke and stuff that causes frame drops. Otherwise it’s fine.

Can't wait for Area 18 to get the same treatment. I know it's years away but boy it could use it.

The clouds around the planet look much better with this version, and I'm glad they added in some beacons to guide you to the spaceport... but yes, I think Area 18 could use the same treatment that Lorvillle got.

Most likely we'll see some major improvements to all of the cities after Dynamic Server Meshing is fully implemented.

I wonder about that. I feel like most of the cities won't really be updated until work on interiors (as in personal habs and underground roads) is done. I also think A18 will be pretty low on the list since it's a bit of a different beast compared to other planets (needs an updated city-biome and has to be rebuilt in general since it was never suppose to be completely covered in buildings).
