When I was learning English, listening to music (mostly rap) helped me A LOT. Now that I'm learning Deutsch, I thought I would do the same. I really like the song "Hurra die Welt geht unter" by K.I.Z. but not so much their other songs. I was able to find "die fantastische vier", but it was very old school. I would appreciate it if you could recommend something to me. And of course I listen to Rammstein. So it shouldn't only be rap. Thanks a lot in advance.

"Die Ärzte", is a german band with roots in punk.

"Die toten Hosen", the other german "punk" rock band.

"Samy Deluxe" is another german rapper, who was popular around the 2000s

"Dendemann" another rapper, i enjoy the music off

"In Extremo" is a german "mittelalter"-rock band, which basically means they use more or less unusual instruments, but most of their songs are german.

"Die Apokalyptischen Reiter", a metal band with many songs in german.

"Subway to Sally" when i listened to them they had a more folk metal vibe, but they changed a lot throughout their existence.

"Helge Schneider" don't know, an absurdist jazz man?

Oh, ich bin wieder ein Teenager :)) To be clear, I haven't heard this before, it's just the early 2000's vibe that's nostalgic. Danke

Not a german here: I don't speak much German at all, but I have an affinity for a German hip hop group called Fettes Brot. The first song I heard from them was Da Draussen. Check it out
