I suppose the argument is they post this stuff anyway and it's better to have it out in the open then all in a little bubble that they control on truth social.
It's not like anyone's going to look at this stuff and then everyone criticizing it and go "oh I guess the right have a point", not unless they were already predisposed to think like that anyway.

This probably comes from the fact that we're more interested in criminal rights regardless of what the charge is and they just see an isolated case being defended and go wild over it. Sure, if you want to look at it with no context. For years though they've been getting called paedophiles and accused of grooming children while the progressive left has been defending them, so it stands to reason that's what we're dealing with here.

We just need to accept that some teens are gonna make AI CP of their classmates and there's nothing we can do about it. I wouldn't call that a left stance though. It's a very neckbeard tech libertarian kind of "let everyone do whatever they want, because I have enough privilege that I'll never be the one suffering the consequences".
