You should draw some hairs on the dial to complete the illusion of a transparent back.

Hah! That's part of what I like about salmon dials actually, they kind of blend with my skin tone.
Honest question that I had to ask SOMEONE who is some sort of watch aficionado. What is so special about these fancy analog watches? My Apple Watch makes me fucking Dick Tracy, and the damn thing is 5 years old. So I guess Iβm asking, what inspires the enthusiasm involved in watch collection when there are so many significantly more advanced options that are substantially cheaper the majority of the time?
Iβm not trying to be a dick. Iβm just legit curious what draws one to analog watches and watch collection in general. I will accept βI just find them neatβ as an answer, since I dig that mentality entirely.
Reasonable question, most people usually enjoy the craftsmanship that goes into the mechanical movements of the watch and it's aesthetics. Some people may also like them because they never need to charge or have a battery change as long as you wear it often enough. (Provided you have an automatic). But the "I just find them neat" is a big part of it for a lot of people.
I dig. Thank you.
For me it's not about analog vs digital or mechanical vs quartz vs smart. I just like shiny things, and quality products. Might be me being shallow but I like holding or wearing something that you can tell is made well. Watches are one of the last remaining items left that revolve around craftsmanship. The fact that they tell time is kind of secondary to me haha.
Lovely watch and nice dial! Great that they made a 40mm case model.
That looks really fantastic.
