Feels pretty widely agreed that Vlatko is making the USWNT less than the sum of its parts. Obviously, Kelly O'Hara should coach for the rest of the tournament, but who should be the next coach after her?

I don't know who would be a good coach for the USWNT, but I did want to chime in and add to the spirit of the discussion and say that watching their match against Portugal was one of the most disappointing and frustrating matches I've seen from the US women. Clearly, Portugal had been studying the game, how to make quick, decisive passes, and how to advance the ball up the field as a team. All the US could do was hoof it forward or an individual would attempt to take on multiple defenders and lose. Vlatko hasn't done anything to improve this team tactically.
