A lot of movies are released in webrip and then a bluray encode is made when the movie is released on bluray.

I think that webrip means that the movie was ripped from a paid streaming website like Netflix for example. These paid streaming websites put a DRM on the movies so video downloader plugins won't be able to download the movie and if you try to get make a screen recording of the movie then you will get a black screen.

So then how is the person who is making the webrip bypassing the DRM of the movie?
