Looks historically accurate to me: Hamas is returning hostages but Israel just shoots them all with a tank anyway
Jokes aside, fuck them, just because IOF kills any man, woman, and child they happen to set their sights on, doesn't mean they were "human shields"
And even if they were human shields, it just enforced that Israel is genocidal. If you’re unable to restrain yourself from blowing up Palestinian civilians because they’re in the way, then you simply want to see all of them dead.
Doesn't even make Israel look good because it's still implying that Israel is tank-shooting through humans to get at Hamas.
The discourse has been "it's OK to kill civilians to get at Hamas, it's Hamas' fault if they die" for quite a while now.
But then when you reverse it to be about Israel settlers getting hit with strays while being “protected” by the IDF, suddenly that’s bad.
I’m getting a “both sides is bad” take from the float, which is a terrible take by the way. Palestine is already vindicated in the history books as morally good, and that Hamas is the legitimate leaders of the Palestinians.
This is modern Germany though. Saying Israel bad is the same as saying you worship Hitler and want him to rule the world.
If Hamas was pushing a family towards my large tank, I would simply not shoot at them to avoid reckless deaths.

The thing is that Hamas does not fucking use people as human shields. That's what the "even if they did" argument misses. It's not fucking true. It's genocidal propaganda and it's a fabrication.
Are German parades always this…graphic? I’m assuming the primary audience is families with children. Not sure about everyone else, but seeing giant puppets committing heinous war crimes would’ve traumatized me when I was a kid.
