Hi guys, I have a question that i couln't find an answer for it for a while, I used to download 4k movies from PSA or PAHE and they used to encode HDR10, but now all they encode is HDR10 DV, I failed to see why the sudden interest in DV? I bought new TV that supports HDR10 but not HDR10 DV and i searched on google and i found that a lot of devices still not supporting DV, so why these sites keep encoding it? Did they found a way to run it on TV and PC fine? BTW i ran DV on MPC media player with Madvr and compared HDR10 to HDR10 DV and I found that DV is slightly darker than HDR10.

All i want to know why the sudden interest in HDR10 DV?
