The cinic in me thinks that enshitification is less of an accident, and more of a deliberate tactic to screw shareholders out of their money and leave them holding the bag.

I think this advice is just as important for shareholders. Better yet, maybe it's time for more user-stakeholdrrship in the platforms they use. Wether that takes the form of cooperative, government funded, or paid subscriber only models. What's clear is profit-driven tech enterprised just endlessly crash and burn, and are too unstable for the betterment of society.

Spez needs to learn that reddit exists they way it did for so long was because digg pissed off its users. Reddit can very easily become digg itself.
