Ever since I read about a young Xi trying to build a biogas reactor in a rural community, and it blew up from the pressure build up covering him in shit, I've been thinking this would make an awesome light-hearted film about socialism with Chinese characteristics.
What, kinda like Forrest Gump with the American dream? (But 100x better and complex, of course)
