TBF, Carrion birds and several apex predator fish (like muskies) could eat landlords. But the fish would need the landlords chopped up into small pieces.

Mosquitos are also important to their ecosystems. So many things eat mosquitoes, they're essential to food supply of many ecosystems they reside in. Even parasites can be important in their ecosystems, standing host to all sorts of bacterias. Landlords do none of this.
