Sometimes it makes sense, as "serious people" react badly and they are less likely to be understanding. She's actually covering up for me not caring about social etiquette even when it would make things significantly easier.

Could you get away with having a fidget cube in your lap or (inconspicuously) behind your back? That's one way I've managed to fidget undetected in meetings before haha.
