This is really horrible and I hope she finds a lawyer who can handle this immediately. She needs to sue the shit out of them.
If she has time, energy, and resources to. Most people don't have time for litigation, even when it's appropriate, she seems to be focusing on her health nonstop as it is.
This seems like something an enterprising lawyer can take pro-bono to build his brand even if he loses
But yeah, it sounds like yet more bullshit in this poor woman's life either way
