  7. No crusading/brigading

  8. Due to how widespread the issue of things like brigading and the fact nobody else will touch upon them, this is, by its nature, the ultimate authority of all things relating to them.

Appeals/promotions across all communities in the same group of communities use the same group, which is also a casual setting, and also take advice and suggestions from the same think tank of self-reflection which keep it as accommodating as possible.

The other comments weren't too well received either.

Sure, but I personally can't do what I need to as effectively in a browser other than Edge, and Edge just happens to be using Chromium. I'm sure there are people who feel similar things about Brave, Opera, and Samsung Internet, and I don't think it's a good idea to shame anyone for using a browser other than maybe Chrome because we don't want to alienate them.

In my eyes, it's a lot more useful to pressure governments to enforce antitrust laws to stop arbitrary restrictions (Google with Chrome) and ending browser defaults, and maybe enforce following web standards to avoid developing for specific browsers. It gets rid of the root cause and probably will have a greater impact than yet another boycott against yet another morally questionable company. It's a lot harder to get fatigued when focusing on a single target.
