jumped into the lake after the prisoner and got the little Echoes of the Eye pop up when I diedI haven't done another run through the ending again yet, though

I am aware that the end game is altered in some way, and that the prisoner shows up with the rest of the cast.As to No. 1,
Am I missing something there?

I've seen the chart that depicts the stranger escaping the supernova, and saw the other room around there with a bunch of chairs looking out the window, but that's pretty much all I got out of that.DLC Ending
Yeah, after you find the Prisoner, that's the final part of the content within the stranger. You should give the ending another run. It all provides a bit of closure to the DLC.Oh, and there's an easter egg everybody misses. At Endless Canyon (the third secret area), do the whole thing like you're going to the archives, except instead of crossing the invisible bridge down the bottom of the stairs, turn the other way towards where the owlelk is hiding. (Note that there's another invisible bridge at the right of the starting tower to get you to that area without having to light up the middle wood bridge, which is easier than trying to fight through darkness puzzles with the other two owlelks. You still have to blow out the main lights, though.) You'll have to bait him out of his area and get him towards the tables, and then go to the hallway he was guarding. I think you turn left at that hallway.
DLC Supernova bit
The Stranger detects abnormal activity from the sun and backs away. You can see it progress in that control room. This is why the solar panels unfurl, why the dam breaks each time, and why you get the memory loop restart instead of dying. If you hadn't noticed, the sun's abnormal activity is the catalyst for a lot of events in the game.
Ah,

I found that invisible bridge because I had for a while been convinced I had to enter the well area through taking the river in the endless canyon so I could launch myself across a gap down there when the tower collapsed. When that didn't work I explored it with the projection glitch just to realize there were actually two pathways down there the whole time.
