I agree with you. I have a router with OpenWRT but it doesn't have the same coverage as the old proprietary firmware, I've tested all the settings but nothing has been able to increase the signal range, besides I'm having difficulty configuring bridge mode on it too. I love the project but it really isn't for amateurs
