In an emergency request, the Center for Reproductive Rights is asking a judge to allow Kate Cox to terminate her pregnancy after she received a lethal fetal diagnosis.

I was going to say that at first, but there are cases where someone is incapacitated (coma or similar situation) and no clear person is designated to decide for them. In those cases the courts must get involved on their behalf.

But if someone is able to make a choice, it ahould be their choice.
