Yes it came from him lol, one of the few Kickstarters that was actually worth their salt. All of the Exploding Kittens artwork is quintessentially Matthew Inman. If you got in on the Kickstarter edition you got a box that meowed at you when you opened it.

He also had a couple other boardgames with some success, primarily a monster building card game Bears Vs Babies and a physical card game Throw Throw Burrito. They're all pretty good for social gatherings, albeit they all need a bare minimum of 3 people to really make something of it.
