Ive never understood why these fucks dont just play eve. It's literally the same libertarian power fantasy, but this time the game actually exists.
EVE Online gave up on the "walk out of your spaceship" part instead of sprinting into a la-la-land of 90s malls, hot dog stands, "bedsheet deformation tech," and other nonsense.
Game still sucks now, especially because of citadels and power consolidation among the space rich, but at least it's a game.
