Is there really no standardized test? Does the therapist have to rely on their gut feeling then? That's crazy.

I mean it’s sorta the case with a lot of disorders.

If you think your arm is broken, an X-ray will reveal if that’s the case. There’s not really a thing like that for mental disorders. So naturally you get a ton of bias.
