Just an update, I finally got around to washing and ironing this one. When I posted it before I mentioned that I fixed some issues with mismatched flosses using a sharpie and was advised I may not want to wash it in case the sharpie runs. I decided to take that advise at first, but the grime around where the hoop was looked really bad, so I decided to risk it. I can report that the black sharpie did not bleed at all! I think it probably would have made a mess of the whole thing if I hadn't let the marker dry completely and I mean for like over a week lol
Now that's a gamble I wouldn't risk! Glad to see it all worked out in the end. Looks great!
I didn't realize how much it needed washing until I put it in a frame, and then it was super obvious! I figured if I was going to have to remake it anyway then it was worth at least trying to wash it first lol
