Persona 5 Royal has Denuvo Anti Cheat. A immensely hard anti cheat to crack.
The only public cracker that is able to crack Denuvo, refuses to crack Anime-games. Thus it’ll take a long while before it gets cracked.
Ah so that's why it runs like shit.
Denuvo probably limits it from its full potential, but the game still runs really well, even on older hardware. Granted, P5R isn't a brand new title but a port of an older one so that prob helps
