Thank you for sharing this! It was validating and informative to me ๐
I seriously told my autism therapist this week that when interacting with NTs, I generally stay quiet. This is because it seems to me that there's a whole dimension of communication that I am completely unaware of, but people rely on this dimension. This leads them to jump to faulty conclusions when I speak, which leads to misunderstandings and possibly upset them.Rather than dealing with that, I just stay quiet.
