Somebody tweeted about his "tourism-based economy" substack take and I couldn't tell what was a joke and what was real. I checked the article with a ctrl-f for tourism and there it was. I knew Smith was a dipshit but I still gave him way too much credit.
As is usually the case, all of the atrocities, all the suffering and all the killing, are said to be worth it because some assholes will get treats out of it.
