Wife pointed out: that’s 22 years after WWII. That’s like a 9/11 musical being made today.

But the point is that it's in poor taste. A 9/11 musical wouldn't be in poor taste because we have documented evidence that the US is responsible for 9/11.

That is not what they tell themselves, despite any evidence they may have. I think to the broad liberal yankee public it would be seen as poor taste at a minimum
