Shitty in some ways and probably a bit transphobic but he really does care about the craft. He wouldn't integrate so much musical theater into his idiotic dick joke cartoons otherwise
AFAIK instead of having that stuff done by a dude with a synth he always had a full orchestra get paid
Again, because the cares about the quality of the craft and he knows that good experienced orchestral musicians are hard to come by, and will just sound better.
