I used to believe the narrative about eels migrating to the ocean for the great eel spawning.

Then I got a place on a creek, and I kept catching old Henry the eel day after day. He never went anywhere.

We were also about 400km from the ocean so maybe old Henry was an incel because of geography.

He'd have had to crawl overland through dessert to have his hole.
