I was able to triple my construction in a month when I got command economy and I was still in the green by a few hundred thousand
Yeah, too bad I don't have the perserverence to play for that long anymore, and also trying not to use switch country. I had to bankroll GDR for like half the time on my communist Mexico game because of overflowing gold reserves, lol
It really does take forever. But it also has arbitrary economic death and suddenly you are going to need to build constantly it makes me cry. Also how did you do mexico? I always get angry when the US comes knocking. I've tried almost everything short of cheating to get them to go away.
