pretty sure the most dangerous animal in the world is far and away the mosquito
I'd still rank them second, after humans.
Far more humans have died do mosquitos than in all wars combined. So I'd say they outranks us with ease.
if the only criteria is human deaths, sure. mosquitoes on the other hand have never caused a mass extinction and they've definitely never caused the sheer level of cruelty and suffering we inflict daily on the animals we factory farm. there's really no competition.

People associate deadliness with the capability of violent behavior ending in gory results. Find a one ton mosquito, people will cry danger.
I feel like that could apply to a lot of things.
