So the CDC is directly not doing disease control anymore. It's the Center for Normalcy Fantasies now.
Center for Damage Control
Literally, though. Every agency and department is just a specialized PR firm for the government's corporate backers. EPA for greenwashing; FDA for rubber-stamping preservative filled slop that's not safe for consumption; CDC for downplaying a deadly, years-long pandemic so that businesses can stay open.
Isn't Damage Control the people who created the hero of the film Spidermam: Homeeconomics?
