I would describe the size of the Walk for Yes crowd here as "ginormous". I think that's the technical term, anyway.
Oh I hope so. The polls haven't been filling me with hope.
The polls aren't to be trusted. Remember the neck n neck liberal v labor state election.
I hope you are right. I hope they're polling people with landlines, which is a demographic that will skew 'No'. But I'm sure they're not just limiting themselves like that. I have no idea how they'd find me - and I hope that's the case for lots of people who are not on old tech and not affiliated with any political party.
My personal theory is that they're putting out reports of No leading by a bit to galvanise Yes supporters into enrolling and voting, as they realise their vote is vital to push back the tide, and not just one of an overwhelming pile of Yes. Idealistic, I know.
