Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

lol, from The Soviet System of Government by John N. Hazard. The whole book is like this, it's quite impressive really. Like just complete and total denial of how western countries operate. I guess it was supposed to be a textbook? The book still has some interesting information that can be gleamed in between rolling your eyes. I would recommend downloading and reading if only for Chapter 12, Employment by the State. It was quite fascinating even with all the bias.

Not particularly surprising that this was written just on the cusp of the neoliberal/neoconservative hegemony establishing itself in the 80’s. This sort of mentality was much easier to hold in that era when the combination of the horrors of fascism during WWII forced the right and the capitalist class to cool it a little, combined with needing to make the working class just comfortable enough to dissuade them from embracing communism. This only works if there’s larger political forces pushing towards equilibrium, and we don’t have that anymore.

Eh, idk. The link is the 5th edition. I've got a paperback of the fourth and it's the same. But, the original was written back in 1957, and like I said the whole book is like this. I think it's just a matter of white guy writes a book that just ignores the rest of America's experience.
