Yo, fellow liver destroyer... Dagoth Ur, misunderstood or narcissistic villain that really thought he was the dreamer?
Literally dead but dreaming. He dreams within the Dreamsleeve, projecting his flesh into the Mundus. Corprus is another manifestation of it. Instead of becoming one with the Godhead, he seeps through the cracks of reality like a cancer and was slowly turning the entire Godhead into a projection of himself. He had to die.
