Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

tbh that's probably bullshit applicant screening and they'll accept anyone that applies

Or it's some kind of scam that I can't imagine the details of?

All unpaid internships are scams.

Im doing an internship right now

I dont get paid by the company

But i still get my federal education student grant every month (all students get this, in Denmark throughout all of their education)

And my internship is only 2 months

I would rather get paid of course. But i consider it to be school. Im learning a lot and its super stress free, free lunch etc

Still terrible. As a software engineering student in Sweden I did 3 summer internships and all were paid.

the scam is they want you to do work but won't pay you. I don't know what the experience thing is about
