Love Mass Effect 1, love old PC games, can't believe I've never heard of this game. Can I play Star Control 1 and 2 on GOG or do I need to figure out how to get this to run from this website? http://theurquanmasters.com/

I'm linux ignorant and having a hard a time getting it to compile and run

Edit: Consulted the Oracles, going vanilla, skipping straight to 2, no spoilers

For anyone reading this on an ubuntu version of linux that wants to try the game, " sudo apt-get install uqm" in a terminal will get the game installed

Also use the command "sudo apt-get install uqm uqm-voice" to install the voice pack. The voices are ... interesting? They definitely add to it.
