I assumed it was just "hire more LGBTQIA+ prison guards!" so-true

It's worse than that. What I've seen recently because of federation is "(verbal performative) support for disadvantaged people as long as they maintain a successful small business in a disadvantaged area for no less than three years and aren't anywhere to the left of Bernie Sanders!"

Admitting right off the top of their tirade that they don't understand the motivations of the other party and yet still barreling forward with telling them how they felt about it.

You also assumed I'm unaware of the nature of US political leanings compared to the rest of the world; particularly compared to Europe and Asia.

Yeah? Get used to it. The political and media literacy of the average westerner is atrocious and you already self identified as a liberal so you're either ignorant or have really bad politics or some combination. If the assumption you're complaining about were not correct you wouldn't have said that.
