I love sekiro because it doesn't work like other souls games. You have to approach every boss like a puzzle, you learn their patterns and know when you see their hand go left that you'll need to parry 3 times and then attack twice. I get why that's not everyone's thing but I think it's so fun. Every boss can be approached that way basically except for;

Demon of hatred, fuck that guyIf you're having trouble with a specific boss I'd recommend looking up video guides on YouTube where they can slow down the animations to show you the tells
I get the idea of the combat I'm just slow. Like if this game was slowed down by like 10% I'd probably have finished it.
For example I can make short work of lady butterfly because i know her move set really well, did it so fast she was only able to bring out her illusions once in that fight.
Yet idk what the fuck is my deal with genichiro but I just can't get into the flow of his bullshit. I'm always blocking with no opening for attack.
I could look up a video but I like to try and figure out games on my own or at least get vague hints rather than a step by step guide
It's like a weird rhythm game puzzle. I haven't played it in a while, but this thread is making me want to reinstall it lol.
