There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

Of course South Korean media reference the opium wars. They reference Radio Free Asia too. So what? Just because media references something doesn't mean it's the baseline knowledge of people in the street. If the media references Foucalt in an OpEd does it mean everybody knows about the panopticon?
The OP was interested about the wiggle room in Asia. Didn't know it was Asia was East Asia exclusive. I don't even care about if Asians care about Catholic bishops. Because for sure most Asians know about what a "bishop" is compared to what an "opium war" is.
