There is a huge presumption the judge is interested in justice or whether they see the violation of one law as negating the other. Fact of the matter is Luigi broke the law as written. Whether we agree or not, the law will be applied and he will be punished. My prediction is to the maximum extent.
As we see daily in the news, America has no rule of law. It's just a giant circus full of clowns.
