Back to the future promised us flying cars, and it turns out they were lying. I trust no predictions.

Well, some scientists have been saying for a long time that all this is nonsense and that we cannot create such technologies with limited resources. Yes, they said all sorts of things, but I recommend listening to sensible scientists, they know very well how things really are. Although they are usually not shown, and are blocked, so finding them can be difficult or even miraculous.
