The mother of a U.S. citizen taken into custody during a chaotic immigration enforcement interaction in a retail parking lot on Tuesday is pleading for answers as her son remains unaccounted for nearly 24 hours later.

Adrian Andrew Martinez, 20, was tackled and forcibly detained by several U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in a parking lot near the 8600 block of Washington Boulevard. According to his mother, Myra Martinez, Adrian Martinez had clocked in for his shift at Walmart around 5 a.m. and went on a break at approximately 8 a.m. when ICE agents were reportedly seen in the vicinity.

So did ICE kidnap him or did someone impersonating ICE kidnap him?

This is the most important question that should be getting blasted everywhere. At this point, with no proof to the contrary, it seems like this should be labeled a kidnapping and law enforcement should be assisting in his recovery.

I suspect, whether this is a case of ICE kidnapping a citizen or someone else posing as ICE, we really will start seeing kidnappings by non-ICE criminals as they see that they can get away with it.

This administration claims they want to stop human trafficking, but they're giving traffickers the perfect cover.

They never wanted to stop human trafficking.

They want to be in charge of it.
