Democratic US Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont introduced legislation on Monday to prevent the use of federal funds for any "illegal wars” in or against Iran without approval from Congress.

Sanders introduced the "No War Against Iran Act", which contains an exception for self-defence as enshrined in the War Powers Act and applicable US law.

“It is imperative that we make clear that the President has no authority to embark on another costly war without explicit authorization by Congress,” Sanders said in a statement on Monday.

After trumps recent posts, the war is all but inevitable, which is extra terrifying since we all know that he was hoping to use the protests on his bitch add birthday to declare martial law to retain power, but since that didn’t work he is going to try to suppress voting indefinitely due to him being a wartime president. He doesn’t realize that this plan will also fail.

It’s like I’ve said all along. When someone can post on social media asking you to name the one thing you wish would happen this year, then the response is someone silently smiling while the comments erupt with a shared knowledge of the mental monologue of the replied, then it’s likely something that absolutely occur without issue or question. Let’s just hope that there’s someone out there with decent aim attempting to impress Jody Foster in the excessively near future.
