They're not even corporate captured, their policy stances are reverse Citizens United and Tax the Rich, they just have shit optics.

That's their tepid messaging, not their platform or general direction of actual actions taken.

The faction that wants to do that is a minority even within the Democratic Party.

Even without the votes to make it happen without Republicans, the DNC has been introducing the ammendment constantly since the decision was first made.

If even 7 Republicans had crossed the isle it would have happened already.
