Quick question. When a country involved in a conflict is holding some of your citizens hostage and you’re considering which side of the conflict to join, do you help or attack the country holding your citizens hostage?

Personally if I were in charge that would be something that caused me to attack the hostage taker, not join their side.

Look, if Israel is allowed to purposefully sink US warships, they'll be allowed to kill a bunch of US citizens.
